National PhD education in public health science. A cooperation on post graduate education between universities, state research and other research institutions in Denmark.
The Danish Graduate School promotes an increase in the quality of post graduate education in public health through
- Coordination and initiation of national courses. Profiling of the PhD education
- Invitation of guest professors in order to provide new competence and inspiration
- Handing out of co-financed PhD scholarships
- Creation of an active study environment with meetings, seminars ect.
- Etablishment of a network for PhD students
- Focus on educational qualifications of the supervisors
